Insurance claim validation

As part of our customer commitment we try to make all insurance claims as easy as possible for everyone involved and so work closely with the insurance companies to ensure each claim is processed as efficiently and quickly as possible.
 

The first step of any claim is for a member of our team to do a quick survey of the property to understand what repairs are required and whether it is covered by the insurance policy. This enables us to either validate or repudiate the claim in line with the policy cover.


If the works are deemed as covered by the insurance policy then our surveyor will put together an initial schedule of works detailing to the insurance company and the customer what needs to be carried out.

Once an initial schedule of works has been drawn up a thorough survey is carried out to assess the best way of putting the property back to its pre-peril state.

This will be supported by a costings list, in line with the schedule of rates held by the insurers, and photographs of the damaged area/s. Our surveys and reports are submitted back for approval within 24 hours.

Using this information a final report and a fixed cost reinstatement schedule is put together and sent to the insurance company for authorisation.
